Statement on PORTUGUESE ELECTIONS
In the context of the Portuguese national election taking place on this 10th of March 2024, the Party of the European Left expresses its support to the Bloco de Esquerda and Mariana Mortágua.
Portugal faces important social and political challenges when it comes to wages, cost of living, housing, care, health, education and climate, and the Bloco de Esquerda is the force which will make sure that these problems are addressed from a left perspective, benefiting the majority of the Portuguese people, in the next legislative term.
As member of the Party of the European Left, the Bloco de Esquerda and the Party of the European Left and have collaborated both in Portugal and in Europe, making strides to develop progressive policies in policy-making. Let’s keep working together in this path to make what has never been done. NÃO PASSARÃO!
Declaração sobre as eleições legislativas portuguesas
No contexto das eleições legislativas nacionais portuguesas que se realizam no próximo dia 10 de março de 2024, o Partido da Esquerda Europeia manifesta o seu apoio ao Bloco de Esquerda e a Mariana Mortágua.
Portugal enfrenta importantes desafios sociais e políticos ao nível dos salários, do custo de vida, da habitação, dos cuidados, da saúde, da educação e do clima. Acreditamos que, nesta próxima legislatura, o Bloco de Esquerda é a força que fará com que estes problemas sejam abordados numa perspetiva social de esquerda, beneficiando o povo português.
Enquanto membro do Partido da Esquerda Europeia, o Bloco de Esquerda e a Esquerda Europeia têm colaborado em Portugal e no contexto europeu, dando passos conjuntos para o desenvolvimento de políticas progressistas. Continuamos juntos neste caminho de “fazer o que nunca foi feito”. NÃO PASSARÃO!
