Vote for Die LINKE: For a Democratic and Social Germany in a Peaceful and Solidary Europe

The elections to the German Bundestag on February 23 are of extraordinary importance for Europe, for democracy, and for the European Left. In the most economically powerful country in the European Union, the radical right-wing AfD is knocking on the door of government power, and it can no longer be ruled out that the CDU-CSU will open it for them. Hundreds of thousands have demonstrated all over Germany in recent weeks against the conservatives’ alliance with the radical right. They have shown us the face of the other, of a Germany that shows solidarity, democracy, and openness to the world.
Die LINKE is the only party that stands in solidarity with this movement against hatred and fascism without any ifs or buts. With its programme of socio-ecological transformation and anti-fascist economic policy, it is fighting to make life easier for working men and women and to remove the ground from right-wing radicalism and hate speech.
We left-wing politicians from seven European countries (Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, France, Greece, Austria, and Spain), who together form the leadership of the Party of the European Left, therefore call on you to vote for the candidates of Die LINKE and the party Die LINKE on February 23. For a democratic and social Germany in a peaceful and solidary Europe.
Walter Baier, President of the Party of the European Left,
Vincent Boulet, Yannis Bournous. José-Luis Centella, Inger V. Johansen, Claudia Haydt, Margarita Mileva, Vice-Presidents
