Terror Tag: Far-Right Plot to Silence Antifa

Following the example of Trump, who seeks to instrumentalize the murder of the far-right influencer Charly Kirk for a sweeping repression of his political opponents, Viktor Orbán and Geert Wilders are now also branding Antifa as a terrorist organization in order to ban it and suppress it with state power.

The Hungarian foreign minister has addressed a letter to the European Commission, in which he calls on the Commissioner for Foreign Affairs, Katja Kallas, to classify Antifa as a terrorist organization, following the example of the USA.

“But you are the terrorists!” declared Walter Baier, President of the EL. “Fascism is a crime, and anti-fascism is a duty.”

We call on all democrats to resist the attempts to delegitimize and criminalize anti-fascism.
