Since 2006, the Party of the European Left and transform! europe have co-organized the Summer University, a key gathering for progressive voices across Europe.
In 2025, the Summer University was hosted from the 11th to the 13th of July by the French Communist Party (PCF) in Paris. During these 3 days, more than 300 participants, 40 European parties, and 28 debates will come together to shape a bold and united vision for Europe.

Depuis 2006, le Parti de la Gauche Européenne et transform! europe co-organisent l’Université d’été, un rassemblement clé pour les voix progressistes à travers l’Europe.
En 2025, l’Université d’été a été accueillie du 11 au 13 juillet par le Parti communiste français (PCF) à Paris. Pendant ces 3 jours, plus de 300 participant·es, 40 partis européens et 28 débats se réuniront pour construire une vision audacieuse et unie de l’Europe.

From 11–13 July 2025, Paris pulsed with the energy of hundreds of activists, organisers, and change-makers during an unforgettable edition of the European Left Summer University, co-organised by the Party of the European Left and transform! europe.
✨ PEACE, PLANET, PEOPLE: OUR COMMON STRUGGLE ✨
Under this powerful slogan, we explored urgent global challenges through a packed program of plenary sessions, workshops, debates, and cultural events.
Together, we tackled:
🏘️ Housing Justice
♀️ Feminism & Gender Equality
🌍 Migration & Climate Justice
✌️ Peace & Anti-Militarism
🚫 Resisting the Far Right
More than just discussions, this was a space of radical learning, cross-border solidarity, and collective action. Once again, we proved:
Another world isn’t just possible — it’s already in motion.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this year’s Summer University such a vibrant space of resistance and hope.

Du 11 au 13 juillet 2025, Paris a vibré au rythme de centaines de militant·es, organisateur·ices et acteur·ices du changement, réuni·es pour une édition inoubliable de l’Université d’été de la Gauche Européenne, coorganisée par le Parti de la Gauche Européenne et transform! europe.
✨ PAIX, PLANÈTE, PEUPLE : NOTRE LUTTE COMMUNE ✨
Sous ce slogan fort, nous avons débattu des défis cruciaux de notre époque à travers des plénières, ateliers, séminaires, formations et événements culturels.
Ensemble, nous avons abordé :

♀️ Le féminisme & l’égalité des genres
🌍 La migration & la justice climatique
✌️ La paix & l’anti-militarisme
🚫 La lutte contre l’extrême droite
Bien plus que des échanges, cette université a été un moment de formation radicale, de solidarité transnationale et d’action collective. Une fois de plus, nous avons démontré :
Un autre monde n’est pas seulement possible — il est déjà en marche.
Un immense merci à toutes celles et ceux qui ont fait de cette édition un espace de résistance, de réflexion et de communauté.
