Francesca Albanese Sanctioned for Exposing Genocide

The Party of the European Left stands in full solidarity with Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, who is facing unjust retaliation for doing what the world desperately needs: speaking the truth.

In her latest report, Albanese courageously exposed not only the ongoing genocide in Gaza but also the economic and financial powers that have profited from decades of occupation — and now, from the massacre itself. For her integrity, the United States, Israel’s main backer, has imposed sanctions on her — a blatant attempt to silence a voice of truth, accountability, and peace.

But we will not be silent.

The same imperialist and militarist forces trying to silence Albanese are those profiting from war and suffering. Her voice must be amplified, not censored.

The European Left proudly supports Francesca Albanese’s candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize — not just as a symbol of resistance against oppression, but as a recognition of her fearless commitment to justice.

Join us in demanding recognition for Francesca and the brave health workers in Gaza.
