Building Alternatives at Festivals

Once again this year, the Party of the European Left will participate in the iconic summer festivals organized by our member parties.

These festivals are not only political events but also living spaces of solidarity, encounter, and joy—where music, art, and culture meet crucial debate about Europe’s future. In France, Spain, Belgium, and Austria, our parties come together to build concrete alternatives that improve the lives of the working class, defend peace, and fight for rights.

These gatherings of freedom and solidarity showcase the powerful organizing capacity of the left and our shared commitment to building a real alternative to war, precariousness, and the reactionary policies promoted by the right across Europe.

That is why the European Left will be on the ground with an information stand, hosting lively discussions, and learning from the experiences of the Communist Party of Spain, the French Communist Party, the Workers’ Party of Belgium, and the Communist Party of Austria.

Together, we are building resistance to the rising fascist reaction that threatens Europe and the world. Our resistance is rooted in local communities and guided by the core values of freedom, solidarity, peace, environmental protection, and feminism—the essential foundations of a more just world.
