European Forum 2026 in Berlin – Register Now!

Welcome to the 10th edition of the European Forum of Left, Green and Progressive Forces!

The European Forum arrives at a crucial juncture for European politics: the rise of the far right, economic uncertainty, war and the drive for rearmament, the transformation of the world of work by artificial intelligence, climate change and the erosion of democracy are just some pervasive symptoms which all demand collective action.

At this decisive moment, the Forum will bring together green, progressive and left-wing forces from across Europe to demonstrate a viable alternative to austerity, privatization and militarization is possible and exists.

SAVE THE DATE!

The 2026 European Forum will take place in Berlin, Germany, from 11 to 13 December. Parties, trade unions, social movements, NGOs, foundations, academics and citizens’ initiatives will come together to find common ground, to share strategies and to discuss joint action. Berlin 2026 will bring diverse struggles together to form a strong project and develop common undertaking against the far right and neoliberal forces.

The program is built around four main axes:

• Democracy in crisis: When power is concentrated, institutions are captured, and citizens’ mobilisation is repressed, progressive forces must strive to unite. We defend a Europe in which participation is meaningful and decisive, decision-making is transparent and democratic, and political rights are inseparable from social rights.

• Peace, not rearmament: The EU was founded to create lasting peace. We reclaim that promise by defending international law, diplomatic dialogue, international solidarity, fair economic cooperation and social security over confrontation, securitisation, and the influence of the military lobby.

• Socio-ecological transformation: Ecology and social justice are not competing choices, they are inseparable and interlinked. We are convinced that a fair ecological transition must enable workers and communities to shape and benefit from change through democratic planning, public ownership, climate-neutral industry, working time reduction and social and environmental conditions on public funding for industry and more.

• From East to West, from North to South: Progressive movements and organizations are invited to join the European Forum. It is both a space for debate, and an opportunity to build lasting alliances. The European Union, Europe and global political context need a credible, hopeful and transnational left that can offer real answers and confront the far right.
