Alliance for Peace and Democracy – International Forum Against the Far Right

On 14–15 November, Barcelona will host the Alliance for Peace and Democracy – International Forum Against the Far Right, organised by Fundació Neus Català, a member of the transform! europe network, in cooperation with transform! europe and the Party of the European Left.

The Forum will bring together activists, journalists, and researchers from various fields and countries to analyse the global rise of the far right and share strategies to counter it.

The event will open on Friday, 14 November, with the inaugural event “50 Years Since the Death of Franco”, followed by a series of sessions the following day. Among many engaging panels addressing both far-right activity and the counterstrategies opposing it, on Saturday, 15 November, at 10:00 a.m., Yann Le Lann, Vice President of transform! europe, and Danai Koltsida, Senior Advisor of transform! europe, will participate in a panel focusing on the pan-European situation, titled “Alert, Europe: A Continent in Dispute.”  They will be joined by Sahar Mohsenzada, David Broder, and Sebastian Wehrhahn.
