Final Statement of the 2nd EL Summer University
We, comrades and activists of 13 left parties and from 17 countries, had the opportunity to take part in the 2nd El summer university from the 11th till the 15th of July in Gosau, Austria.

We exchanged many experiences and learned a lot in the several confernces and workshops about topics such as the evolution of the left for the last 40 years, water, education, the labour movement, issues concerning the "new constitutional treaty" and the EL campaign.People in our countries and in Europe are facing social, economical, political and ecological challenges: we, the left in Europe have the means and the obligation to contribute to their solution. That’s why we were here. That’s what we discussed.We, the participants of the 2nd EL Summer University, want to thank our parties and the Europen Left.See you next year for the 3rd EL Summer University!
