The European Left at the Festival of the German Communist Party
More than 50,000 people took part in the 16th Festival of the German Communist Party. The European Left participated with an own stand and took the opportunity to discuss with the guests of the festival about the results of the elections to the European Parliament.
Around 30 left parties and many organisations across the world participated with stands and offered political debates and cultural events.
A main topic in the discussions was, beside the recent elections, the current movements of pupils and students in Germany against the deficient educational system.
